Speeding up COVID-19 vaccinations to reach herd immunity in China will be a challenging but feasible task, health experts have said, calling for stronger efforts to raise public awareness about vaccines and make the inoculation process more convenient and considerate.

The process of giving an allowance of Rs. 5,000 to selected categories including Samurdhi recipients and low income earners commenced this morning. This is against the backdrop of some Grama Niladhari and Samurdhi Officer Trade Unions stating that they will not support it.
The Sri Lanka Grama Niladhari Association stated that they are withdrawing from the payment of the allowance of Rs. 5,000 due to the irregularity of this program.
However, the President of the Sri Lanka United Gampaha Grama Niladhari Association Keerthi Tissa stated that the payment of Rs. 5,000 will be made by the officials of his association.

In rare cases, an immune reaction has led to antibodies that caused a serious clotting disorder. But public health experts maintain the vaccine s benefits far outweigh the risks for most people. The AstraZeneca-Oxford vaccine has been deployed against Covid-19 in at least 115 countries, some of them for several months now. But it was not until a few cases of a rare blood-clotting disorder some fatal emerged within the past month or so that many European nations began to rethink its use across all age groups.

Addressing the first meeting of the Platform for National – Local Dialogue on Open Government in Ukraine, on 8 April 2021, Congress Director Rafael Benitez highlighted the importance of strong partnerships for building effective, accountable and inclusive institutions of governance at all levels.
While congratulating Ukrainian authorities on this initiative, he stressed that the “Platform can be seen as a comprehensive approach to joint achievements of national and local authorities within the new Action Plan for the Implementation of the Open Government Partnership (OGP) Initiative in Ukraine”.

For those of you who’ve not read the Constitution, the Fourth Amendment is the one the founders wrote that prohibits the government from stealing our private information. The Supreme Court ruled on the side of liberty: that the government is bound by the Constitution to obey the law of the land. The government is a treasonous rogue that considers itself to be above the law. Even Supreme Court rulings mean zero.
